"We stayed two nights in September 2026. Breakfast was ample, with great variety. The room itself was clean and spacious, with great storage features. The location was convenient; close to all the places we wanted to visit."
"Whilst the only two staff were nice enough, there was hardly ever anybody there.
The bedding was clean. I didn’t eat there at all due to awful reviews which I didn’t see till after I’d booked for four nights.
On my second night water came down from the ceiling into my room had to put the bin underneath to catch the water.
This came as no surprise to them. When I mentioned it I was handed the phone to speak with the manager who was very brief and unapologetic.

"Nice room although not very private in terms of balcony area -in full display of pub garden!! Good location for boat to Farne Islands and travelling to Lindisfarne etc. Very small car park."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay. Our room (127) was spacious and well equipped, in a quieter position looking over the car park away from but conveniently located for the main road. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food (breakfast and dinner) was excellent too. Would definitely recommend and stay here again 👍"

The room was very clean and had everything we needed .Even though we were on the ground floor at the back we did not experience any noise from the bar or restaurant. In fact the only noise we heard was the cars on the gravel in the car park.
The food was excellent there was so much choice for breakfast. The evening menu was amazing all locally sourced food. We tried several dishes and all of them were so tasty and the portions...
