I was in a double room and it was just about the right size for me, but probably would be a tight squeeze for two people sharing."

"Fifth time staying at the Coldra Court and finally recognised as a Gold member with a room upgrade. McKenzie on reception was superb - upgraded me, welcome gift and ensured a robe was in my room. Hotel is immaculately clean and room has very tasteful interior design with muted tones. Elemis toiletries are wonderful. Leisure facilities great, if a little old. Pool nice and clean. Adult only times should be extended. Breakfast was ok but fried food very greasy. Location not ideal on a business...

"The hotel looks a bit tired on the outside but is modern inside in the public areas. The room was basic and a little tired looking. We had to pump the toilet handle to get it to work and it didn’t always! Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of food and a reasonable price for a buffet. The location was really good and was only a 5 minute walk to the high street and the castle entrance. Cardiff arms park was at the back."

"Lovely property and location. Part of the fun reaching this hotel is the narrow road leading up the mountain/hill.. which has little room for two way traffic. Only bad experience was the loss of water services, our room being the only one that did not come back on line requiring us to move rooms."

"Amazing staff really friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and comfortable. Tea and coffee facilities were in the room. Breakfast was really enjoyable and for 9.50 included cooked breakfast and continental. The continental was self serve and the cooked was brought out to you with choice of eggs "

"The majority of the staff were very helpful, just one gentleman wasnt sure about a lot of things not sure if he was new but everyone else was fantastic, was slightly disappointed we couldnt get food at 12pm before we checked in when the menus on the table said 24 hours a day but when we got back in the evening they were very helpful and we had a lovely pizza, a lovely hotel very clean would stay again as the good outweighed the bad."

"Hotel was clean and staff were very helpful. The WiFi wasn’t very good and to get the gym or pool access card you have to go to reception and hand in your key which is a bit odd. Other than that, superb!"

"Very centric, clean and professional and friendly staff. Breakfast was good. They could store our bags till check in. A bit of a noisy street at night so we could hear everything happening from the room’s window, but overall a very pleasant stay and would totally recommend."
