"The location of the hotel was good - right on the sea front. The hotel and room was clean and apparently we were in one of the newly refurbished rooms. The bed / mattress was not that comfortable - way too soft and when you sat on the edge of the bed the mattress felt really flat and hard as anything (sounds a strange combination - soft mattress but hard when you sat on it, I know!) "Great value for money and staff are very helpful."

"Our family room was not clean and the carpet was dirty some visible dust and debris which is a concerns as we are travelling with kids loves playing on the floor. Im not very happy on our room because we can hear machine sound coming outside in our room, so its not quite at all. But the food was great loads of it which I really like especially my children. Staff were really nice."

"Booked room with a sofa but room had third bed in so there was no sofa. Could hear other guests children late at night and very early in morning so rooms are not sound proofed. No heating in bathroom so cold and not even winter yet. Hotel is very convenient to M6 and staff were very professional and friendly. Breakfast was very good and fresh."

"Very comfortable stay & excellent breakfast."

"Clean a lovely rooms, staff were very friendly."

"This was our second visit to Mytton Fold and as on our previous visit we found the hotel to be excellent. It is nicely located to take advantage on the Forest of Bowland, the lakes and Yorkshire. The food options in the bar and restaurant were excellent as were the breakfast options. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our rooms were of a good size and it was nice to have fresh milk in the fridge which was refreshed each day. To top it all it was very good value."

"Very helpful staff and excellent food."
