"Nothing stood out as good. I was initially in room 3. There was not even a coat hook. I had nowhere to hang my shirts. There was also no bedside lamp and no lightswitch within reach of the bed. The shower had no bracket so was not self supporting. When I complained about this they did relocate me to Room 2 which had a functioning shower and did have a hanging rail. In both rooms, the amount of noise from the plumbing was very intrusive. I was woken at 4am by the very loud sounds of...
"Was fairly cheap compared to nearby hotels with a pub next door and a petrol station/shop nearby.
It's an ex-premier inn and was comfortable enough. The bathroom was a bit on the grotty side.
The grab and go breakfast was a shambles. I ordered it to the room on Monday for 0730 and it came at 0715, Wednesday it was ordered for 0720 and it came at 0650 and the coffee was a mocha instead of what I asked for, each time I was woken up before my alarm, not happy at all.
This morning it came on...
"The room was not clean, the food was disgusting and the place was loud all hours with drunk men and school trips. Only positive was that the bar lady was nice"
"We stayed in a garden room at the hotel, and this was fine for a long weekend's stay and I'd happily use it again.
The room was clean and tidy with good furnishings. The en suite bathroom too, was well appointed. There were some tea and coffee making facilities which we made use of and were fine. The location was ideal for us. Easily walkable from the railway station and very close to the river, bridge over the Thames and its associated amenities. It is also within easy walking distance of...
"Quaint and gorgeous building and rooms! Only thing I'd suggest is that the owners put lamps in rooms to augment the LED lighting (for travelers like me whose eyes don't do so well with the LED frequencies). Other than that, the hotel was lovely, as were the staff!"
"There was mix up with our room. Got cancelled without us knowing. Phoned to try and cancel but we were told we couldn't get a refund if we did even though it was within the time limit of cancellation. We obviously didn't cancel and rocked up to find the room that they allocated to us was occupied and we needed another room. Luckily there was one available but we had to pay at the time. We eventually go a refund from Expedia for set room. Didn't enjoy the experience. Was made to feel I made the...
"Room and amenities was ok but the corridor on the 6th floor smelled like it was directly connected to the restaurant kitchen ventilation, and had been so for several years. Also our room had a slightly “funky” smell and since you can’t open the window to ventilate the room you just have to live with it…
Parking garage was fine but if you have a larger car or SUV you might need to a bit careful when entering and exiting the garage since it demands some care negotiating the turns going up or down...
"Propre, déjeuner correct
Seul problème: la communication compte tenu du fait que nous arrivions à une heure plus tardive.
Malgré tout, le séjour a été ok."
"The host is an amazing person. Really take care of every detail. The breakfast was way better than any luxurious hotel, because also was having a kindly touch. My husband and I were happy. Obviously there are not “elevator” to take big luggage at the second floor, but it was worth the effort. 😉"
