"Budget hotel at a budget price in a great location. Close to groceries and restaurants, nice walk on the pier to the ocean. The room is very sparse and basic but good value"

"Handy for train stations, 20 minute walk to shops and bars Staff friendly, room cleaned with fresh towel daily"

"The hotel rooms are a bit tired for the rate charged. On site parking is convenient but very tight when full. Good central location."

"Staff helpful, room huge and quirky. Would stay again."

"Beautiful old building with great views. Heck of a climb to the top floor where our rooms were. No lifts and no help with bags. The mattresses were horrible - on all 3 beds. Afraid to speak with manager who checked us in - not friendly at all. Barked at my daughter when she asked for WIFI password (which was not given to us on registration). "Good value for money. Room was spacious and clean and staff were friendly and helpful."

"Posizione incantevole, a pochi chilometri da Castle Rock e Chippenham, immerso nel verde. Camera spettacolare, curata e pulita. Ristorante con buona scelta e buona qualità, colazione di livello davvero superiore. Parcheggio disponibile. Davvero un soggiorno meraviglioso."

"Room was clean and very Quiet! Considering it was a 10 minute walk to Bristol Airport. It was a bit difficult to contact the owner for instructions on how to get into the room. Price was great"

"Cool well equipped space with well thought out amenities."

"Our stay was excellent and would reccomend this to anyone in this area"

"Clean and functional room, beds very comfortable. Great location in the city centre. Very helpful owner. Unfortunately, guests in room next to ours were very nosey on the last night."

"A very cute place to stay. Staff weee extremely helpful during our stay."

"My husband stayed at Deangate Motel due to working locally. The motel was clean staff helpful in that they let him keep the same room when he extended his stay due to not finishing his work on time. The room he was in he could see his work van clearly and the carpark was super safe as it joined the police station carpark so gave him peace of mind .will stay again as a couple so we can explore the area locally which is walking distance to Lydney. Beautiful countryside for walking."

"We were very disappointed. Lack of maintenance meant room was very poor. Room was vvv cold, we were given an extra duvet. Windows didn't shut properly. Bedside lamp didn't work. Shower head not fixed to wall. Room was small but we expected that."

"When I arrived to check in I was told my booking was no longer valid has there had been a change of ownership & name so I had to leave & find somewhere else "
