"The hotel is generally well maintained & presentable. The single room was clean, comfortable, well appointed & an adequate size. Unfortunately, it was hot & stuffy with no fan & rather noisy as it faced a busy main road (had to keep the window open due to the hot weather). The location of the hotel is good, about 15 minutes walk from the city centre."

"I liked that the hotel was very close to the Cardeff Central Station. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. Also, a lot of the things to do, and places to see were within walking distance. The accommodation while comfortable could use a little updating. I will stay there again."

"We stayed in room 9 for a couple of nights and was more than happy with our room and the balcony was excellent.
Staff were friendly and helpful, and the gringo in the beer garden serving drinks was really welcoming and a good laugh.
Location was excellent with a payable carpark in close proximity."

"Very close to train station and very helpful host however I requested a lower floor room but ended up on the top floor, no lift , host carried my case up but was a lot of stairs to the room"

"This was our first time staying at a hotel that wasn't staffed. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The accommodations were very modern. Plenty of hot water. Easy access to both train and bus stations. Walking distance to a variety of restaurants and grocery stores. Quiet. We didn't hear street noise. Stairs are steep, as others have noted.
