"Norlyn met us on the beach when our boat arrived and gave us a ride to his B&B. Comfortable and clean room. Common area has a shared refrigerator. On our second day we had an early departure for Corcovado and Norlyn served us an early breakfast and gave us a ride with our luggage. Great value!"

"Silvia and Ferdinando were excellent hosts. Silvia oriented us to the area and checked on tours. The property is a large garden with pool and outdoor kitchen for guests. The town is small and low key. You can walk to either beach entry. We ordered dinner at our host's Italian restaurant. Ferdinando cooked: it was wonderful. Three great courses. We were off season for whales so will try to come back to Dolce Uvita"

"Very difficult to get to - hour and a half of bumpy roads to Carate, then a 3.5k hike. The logistics were not well communicated, but worked out fine. Hot (mid-April visit). The grounds are pretty special with spider monkeys frolicking in the trees right above the tents and ocean waves supplying 24-7 white noise. The guided hike into the National Park was underwhelming - the wildlife was superb, but you only skirt the periphery of the park and don't get to really explore the old growth. "

"Wonderful property. Staff picked us up at the beach after our wet landing boat ride from Sierpe. Room #11 was perfect for an couple with an lovely patio including a hammock overlooking the river and ocean. Breakfast included with lunch and dining to purchase, all food options were very beautiful presentation, delicious and reasonably priced. Property is well kept with beautiful landscape and steps to the beach. A mile w allow into town took 30minutes or front desk can call a local taxi for $10....

"Place has characte and a nice vibe. Some motorcycle noises at night, but on the edge of town so not a major problem. Walking distance to bakery and restaurants. "

The bathroom accommodations were very clean and the pool was so nice to cool off in. We had breakfast there in the mornings and the fruit was great! "We stayed in this hidden gem for 2 nights with another couple. We rented a Superior Villa with a kitchenette and 2 bedrooms but upon arriving we were surprised to see that it was a lot smaller than the photos led us to believe. It would be better for a family then 2 couples as the bedroom with the double bed only had a privacy curtain. Both rooms were open above the door so that the AC which is only in the single beds room, could cool the entire villa. We did not eat there, which is good because...
