"Nice place to stay in Ames."

"Convenient location walking distance to a grocery store and restaurant."

"I was right by the elevator and I was worried it would be noisy, but it wasn't as it was very quiet. The breakfast was delicious."

"We were staying there two nights so I requested a first floor room when we checked in and they said they didn’t have any available. Seemed strange when the motel didn’t seem busy at all. No one was usually at the front desk either since they weren’t busy. The bathroom had rusty faucet and no Kleenex anywhere in the room. Some of the walls in the motel needed patching and fresh paint."

"The property was very easy to locate. In the area we were going to be spending time. Easy check-in. Late hours open for being able to use the pool! Good breakfast. We ate closer to finishing time but there was enough food even though no staff was attending. The regular coffee pot was all but dry, A lot of pumping to fill the cup. They seemed serious about recycling! Liked that! Comfortable bed! Slept well even though being close to Interstate and 4 lane highways."

"I was happy that I reserved a room with a balcony but couldn’t have because they overbooked it. Then decided that comping the parking fees was an even trade that wasn’t the case. Also hotel staff wouldn’t give me coffee for the room and suggested I get it from the dispenser in the lobby. Other than that the stay was good."

"clean place to stay, might be in need of some updating to the property."

"Had a late check-in for an overnight stay due to a family funeral the next morning. We were very glad to see the room was as clean as other reviews stated. Parts of the tub and toilet showed rust and wear, but everything worked for what we needed. Breakfast was well displayed and offered a good variety. We were able to drop off keys for an easy check out."
