"Perla Azul worked out great for our family. It was nice having the front house as well as the smaller back house, especially with adult children. Listing was exactly as described and had everything we needed for the week. The pool was wonderful, and appreciated the air conditioning and ability to lock the gate. Walk to town and beach was easy. "This is an absolutely beautiful property. It’s very secluded and has a very romantic feeling to it. The owner is amazing and makes you feel like family. We booked it last minute after our VRBO ended up being a scam and we had to scramble to find somewhere to sleep. This owner went above and beyond to make us feel welcome after our terrible experience with the VRBO. The cabins are very clean and comfortable. He was extremely responsive and on top of every little detail. The property was very clean and everything was just like the photos. "Hung up in unbelievable traffic in Santa Cruz, I was not able to check into the hotel until 7 AM the next day when they reopened. So I don't have the overnight experience one expects. That said, the room was very clean, the shower had good hot water, and I did get a morning nap on the bed. Fort7nately, it is off the road a bit. But noise carries and young Costa Ricans love their motorcycles. So if you are super noise sensitive that might bother you, but the traffic is really light on that...
