"Very conveniently located right by the main train station. Handy for short trips into London and back to Gatwick for an early flight. Clean, functional, well-designed basic room with everything I needed, my only complaints were that there wasn’t a plug anywhere near a mirror (to look in it to dry my hair), and only a very bright ceiling light, no reading/bedside lights, so it was all or nothing. "When the reception desk was manned the staff were very helpful but we were extremely disappointed with the room, specifically the bathroom. While not dirty, it was in very bad condition and in dire need of refurbishment. There was not a separate shower so the shower head was in the bath and the bath was high and narrow and in very poor condition as was the bathroom floor."
