"It was so rainy the week we stayed at Kaatskill Mountain Club that we were basically confined to our room or the very nice lounge off the lobby. We entertained ourselves with good books, tablets, crosswords, art supplies, etc. The constant rain kept us out of the pool. We tried the steam room and sauna. "The place was in such disrepair, the cement walkway and top floor patio were crumbling. The weeds everywhere were 2 feet tall. Floors in our room were filthy, kitchen was filthy with food particles on counters and in the refrigerator. There were cobwebs and spiders everywhere on the ceiling. No hot water for showers. We had reserved the room for two nights, did not stay for the second night. It is very sad that Expedia portrayed this place so falsely, giving it such good ratings. I would never...

"Very nice for the price. The full kitchen was great stocked with plates, glasses, pans etc. The beds seemed new and very comfortable and the bathroom was brand new and exceptionally nice. They have definitely been putting effort into updating the rooms and it shows. I would definitely stay there again."
