"I visited here for 3 night with my grandson. The location, views, cleanliness, bedroom were excellent. Only criticism i have is that I'm 68 and our room was on the very top floor. Not the fault of anyone. I would live to stay here again."
"Room Willow: very clean and spacious, no air conditioning, however big windows allowing a lovely breeze to come through.
Only issue we found was if you want to watch the TV you have to sit on the bed, you cannot watch it from the settee.
Nice selection for breakfast and well cooked.
Hosts were very friendly and helpful giving suggestions of what to do and where to go.

"A clean and tidy well managed guest house, that offered us a pet friendly option. Location (for us) excellent, situated on the quieter side of Scarborough but with easy access to walks along cliff top promenade and gardens together with reasonably near access to main town area. Check in was easy and parking fairly easy to access with option to purchase permit. Security and access of the building was fine. The room was very pleasant clean and tidy with perfectly adequate bathroom and good storage...
"Lovely owners who knew a lot of history about the hotel. Dated decor but nice bathroom. Next to funincular railway to take you down to south bay beach. Long walk to open air theatre. Number of parking spaces in front of hotel and hotel owner has cheaper payment method. Nice breakfast"
"Wonderful people, who couldn't do enough to help. Excellent breakfast prepared by a master. Perfect eggs. Comfortable well equipped entrance suite. Temperature rose and a fan mysteriously appeared in our room, pre emptying our request. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the first time we've really been able to relax in a long time."
"Parked car in long stay car park which is immediately behind the cafe / bar and soon found Chapter Two on the market square.
Received warm welcome from the person in charge who quickly checked us in and showed us to our room. The room was spacious and well decorated. After a while in the room though we did sense that the room was cold and damp which we raised with the staff who quickly brought us a couple of radiators and a fresh quilt cover. The extra heat did help but over our two night stay...
