"I will ALWAYS stay at this Hampton when Im working in the area. I had a noise issue in my first room (not at all the fault of the hotel) and I was exceptionally pleased with the professionalism, attentive customer service, and absolutely kind attitude shown by Kash when i brought the issue to his attention. He immediately made arrangements to secure me another room (same style/layout and on the same floor) and he had me moved into my new room in under 10 minutes. It's rare to find this...

"We had a shorter stay. We liked having the kitchenette, it gave us a place to put our leftovers when we went out to dinner. The room was clean, but the TV was going out and the phone was broken. "

The free breakfast is cereal, toast, or muffins in a tiny room and mostly depleted. And while some rooms have nice courtyard views, I wasn’t offered one. Carpet in room was filthy, but otherwise all was very clean. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay here. "

"We come to San Rafael to visit grandparents. The Villa Inn is a nice place for an overnight stay that is close to downtown and where the family live. The continental breakfast really helps us get up in the morning and energized for the day. Friendly staff at the front desk. Quiet neighborhood."
