The beach,supermarkets and all types of restaurants are within walking distance. We thought the property deserves at least 3*, maybe even 3*+ Kitchen is equipped with almost everything you may need, the only thing missing was an oven. Nice, comfy beds. Internet wasn't the best, but usable. Excellent pool and great pool bar with reasonable prices. Breakfast was also great, however the baked goods could have been freshly sourced. All staff were lovely and very helpful. We absolutely enjoyed our stay in Dorotea and would be happy...

"The apartment was lovely, and I had a balcony with sunset in the evening. The cita shopping center is across the road and the entrance to the sand dunes was a 5 minute walk. The pool was clean and a good size. The only negative here was the lack of soft covers for the sunbeds, you're just laid on the hard plastic and no umbrellas to sit under. The managers were really friendly and helpful. Its the first time at this hotel and I'll definitely be back!"

"I booked last minute and was allowed to check in early. Very friendly and helpful receptionist. The apartment is very clean, a decent kitchenette with lots of appliances as is the small but perfectly functioning bathroom. Lots of towels and a soap dispenser. The large bedroom has a fitted wardrobe, a safe, 2 single beds and a connecting window to the lounge which us a good sjze and has a tv plus fan. The WIFI is free and super quality! "Standard apartment a little tired and In need of minor renovation ( several cracked floor tiles that move ) but a perfectly comfy and well appointed apartment and kitchen. Air conditioning at an additional cost . It was The 50th anniversary of Carnival and the noise from the celebrations and music till 4am for 3 nights made it impossible to sleep - THIS IS NOT THE HOTELS FAULT but due to the proximity to the Yumbo center it’s impossible to avoid. The day after the carnival finished silenced...

"Great location, friendly staff spacious rooms, well equipped kitchen. Loved the balcony overviews the pool and sea. The only problem I found is there no hot water supply. Also you can hear the neighbours as the walls are thin."

I had requested a high floor room and was given one on floor 6. The safe is usually 15 euros a week to rent, but given my short duration I was allowed it for free.
