"It was a great place to stay. Close to the city centre, within walking distance to restaurants/pubs, grocery store. Breakfast was delicious. Staff were helpful. Would most certainly stay here again."

"Good for purpose. Business stay"

"Clean room, lovely outlook."

"On the plus side the staff were friendly, the price good, the bed comfy and the parking free. On the negative side, everything looked a bit shabby, doors were dirty, the window in the bedroom didn’t close properly and when a heavy burst of rain occurred water was flowing into the bedroom. The plugs didn’t all work, the television was hung on a wonk, the light was broken and hanging off the wall. I was woken throughout the night with people banging doors and then at 6am was a fire alarm, I left...

"Clean, comfortable and spacious room. Nicely decorated. Great location. Easy to access with codes provided. Water pressure quite low in the shower (on first floor)."

"Room was clean, but no television in room"

"Wasn’t aware we had to check in by a certain time. An email was sent half an hour beforehand considering the location and reason we were visiting the area this could easily have been missed"

"My husband stayed at Deangate Motel due to working locally. The motel was clean staff helpful in that they let him keep the same room when he extended his stay due to not finishing his work on time. The room he was in he could see his work van clearly and the carpark was super safe as it joined the police station carpark so gave him peace of mind .will stay again as a couple so we can explore the area locally which is walking distance to Lydney. Beautiful countryside for walking."

"The property description on Expedia listing was misleading. The description referred to a private bathroom. I am unsure how even loosely the term private bathroom can be used when it’s shared by all guests. Surely this is a shared bathroom. No towels provided either. If this was accurately disclosed we would have never booked at this accommodation. The beds were comfortable and room was warm, breakfast was good but it still remains that we were disappointed with the description and would not...

"I stayed in the merlin yurt which was nice and clean, comfy bed and duvet. I enjoyed the log burner as it was a novelty to me. The kitchen was basic but had everything you could need. Shop and pub 5 minute walk away. There are 3 shower/toilet combos with a great shower. A washing up area with a fridge freezer. Cleaning product was provided. No complaints at all "

"Friendly hosts, recommended."

"the room was okay but it smelt like damp and thier was quite a lot of black mould behind the sofa"

"A really quaint shepards hut, really peaceful and a beautiful view to wake up to. The welcome hamper was a really thoughtful gesture."

"Excellent communication Easy check in Great property, very central to be able to walk everywhere in Cheltenham. Would highly recommend. Only thing I would say for others is we presumed 3 bathrooms meant 3 toilets, however there is : 1 bedroom with an en-suite shower and two sinks. And then shared between the next bedroom is a tiny shower/ loo and sink. Ground floor there is a large bedroom and huge bathroom with shower and separate bath. We did not utilise the hot tub in the garden but it was a...
