"Hung up in unbelievable traffic in Santa Cruz, I was not able to check into the hotel until 7 AM the next day when they reopened. So I don't have the overnight experience one expects. That said, the room was very clean, the shower had good hot water, and I did get a morning nap on the bed. Fort7nately, it is off the road a bit. But noise carries and young Costa Ricans love their motorcycles. So if you are super noise sensitive that might bother you, but the traffic is really light on that...

"This was one of our favourite places in all of Costa Rica to stay and I can't recommend it enough. Coltin is a fabulous host who is very responsive and knowledgeable about the local area but also keeps your privacy. The house is stunning and has the best views for sunset and relaxing and it's super convenient for going anywhere in town when you actually can leave the property though it's hard to do! I can't say enough about this place and don't have anything negative to say, which is rare for me...
