"The Saracens is old but has character, the staff were very good and the food was brilliant (Chardonnay very nice too!) The stairs were a bit steep and beds a bit narrow. Not expensive, don't do breakfast but a few doors away lovely café did! A pleasant stay."

The suite was a mini home from home, the decor was lovely and the furnishings stylish and extremely comfortable, especially the king-size bed, all in all everything you need. We received a really warm welcome from our host Pauline, who had a wealth of knowledge about Woodstock and the surrounding area, and nothing was too much for her, thank you. We will return with our friends."

"Terrible place to stay. The shared bathroom had broken and dirty toilet seat, the music in the bar each night was loud and raucous. Couldn't get any sleep. Left before the end of planned stay - Don't stay there!"
