"Great short stay to access Snowdon. The accomodation was exceptionally clean and very smart. A little bit of work to do in the bedroom to tidy up the damaged walls and skirting board but otherwise faultless and I am being very picky. Great proactive contact and helpful staff with warm welcome. Excellent adoption of technology to make stay more convenient including self serve tuck shop for an early morning. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others!"

Everything was provided, from ecofriendly shampoo and bodywash to pristine robes and towels, a lovely coffee machine, fresh mik with the tea facilities and an excellent guide to the house, its facilities and local walks. "This is a lovely hotel that has been converted from opd miner's cottages into modern rooms. The rooms are comfortable and clean although a little on the small side if you have a lot of luggage. It is conveniently located just a short walk from the town and the bus stop outside is handy for the sherpa bus. Unfortunately the lake view is now almost obscured by trees across the road. Amy was very welcoming and helpful throughout the stay and is always available. I would definitely recommend this...
