"Samara Pacific Lodge is a hidden gem for our Samara adventure! The location was perfect. We could walk to the beach for some surfing in the mornings, then head into town for delicious local eats in the afternoons. In the evenings, the pool area was a lifesaver! Nice and refreshing, with plenty of comfy loungers to catch some rays and unwind. The staff here were incredible. "Bahia Rica Was an oasis in Paquera. We stayed for one night and did the bioluminescent tour and Isla Tortuga. The guest house was a rustic sanctuary where you feel one with nature. Lots of monkeys, and beautiful birdwatching. 253 steps down to a secluded beach where we had breakfast and we’re given various choices of cuisine. Isla Tortuga was awesome with Juan as a guide. "I loved the room with the glass wall to a private view of the back yard/hillside. There was a kitchen and a private patio area. Staff was so helpful to navigate our way and to secure a ferry reservation after we left there. Loved the area. Just wasn’t aware how mountainous it is in Costa Rica. Takes getting used to drive up the crazy hills. Great location and food/restaurants was amazing!!! So fresh and good. "
