"Wir sind mit unserem Aufenthalt sehr zufrieden. Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und nett. Es war alles sauber und wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Der einzige Nachteil waren die vielen schmalen Treppen bis zu unserem Zimmer, da ich Probleme mit meinem Knie habe. Das Personal wusste dies jedoch vorher nicht. There were holes in the wall and huge chunks dug out the plasterboard. Plug for the tv was stretched across the wall to the nearest socket, if it got caught on someone walking by or moving luggage then that tv would defo come off the wall. "I booked three of my engineers into Abbey Lodge Hotel for a one-night stay, and the conditions were appalling. There was no hot water, both the towels and the room smelt strongly of mould, and the shower was rusted and heavily covered in limescale. The overall standard of cleanliness was completely unacceptable and raised serious hygiene concerns. I have genuinely seen homeless shelters maintained to a cleaner and safer standard. "Had to have maintenance attend the room for around an hour to fix the shower hose (cracked) the air con (wasn’t working) and the heated towel rail in the bathroom (wouldn’t turn off and was blazing hot on a 30 degree day). Room was ok in terms of cleanliness but I cleaned some marks off walls myself because it was off putting. Overall poor experience as I was late for the concert I was attending at the stadium, waiting for basic stuff to be fixed. Ruined the experience tbh."
