"The reviews I read on line were a bit misleading. Most gave it between 8-10/10. If I were a young surfer then the hotel would have been perfect. Its pretty much a bed and a bathroom. The biggest complaint I have is that there is a private club next door which played music until 2AM and started playing it again around 6AM. In conclusión, young surfer yes, older person that is used to certain amenities, no."
"Tico Tico was the ideal place for our two-week stay while we attended Spanish School in Quepos. We stayed in villa #12 which was exactly as shown in the photos. It was spacious, clean, and had a great open, modern aesthetic. And A/C!!! Having the kitchen was fantastic. We used the stove every day to cook eggs for breakfasts, and when we didn't want to eat out for lunch and dinner, we made sandwiches and salads. They even provided a hot water kettle so we could make coffee and tea.

"I want to preface this with, I am writing this solely based upon my stay at the property, not my interaction with Expedia. That said...
Guests would be happy to know that despite the regular staff not being present after 5pm, there is a security guard that willingly will check you in and get you to your room. Speaking of the room, and I LOVE this part, there is ZERO internet access nor televisions present. We got metaphorically high off of the beauty of our immediate surroundings, the sounds of...
"Hotel sencillo pero limpio, pocos cuartos, poca presencia de staff, pero todo funcionando bien. La ubicacion es un poco lejos de los atractivos de manuel antonio, requiere de taxi o similar para llegar. Lo reservé de ultimo minuto y estoy agradecido que me sacó del apuro, cumplió con todo lo anunciado y pude descansar las 2 noches que estuve ahi."
"This property has amazing potential! I was literally the only guest there and not notified that they were about to start a long-needed renovation. Still, I was treated with 5-star hospitality. Luciane made me a wonderful breakfast and there was a voucher for use at the lovely restaurant, El Arado, a short walk up the road. Large, clean pool. The rooms are organized into duplex cabanas on a hillside so fair warning to guests with mobility issues. Can’t wait to see what they do with the place! "
"No nos gustó la habitación. Algo menos que aceptable. El frigorífico no funcionaba, las ventanas no tenían mosquiteras, No era un sitio cómodo y agradable para estar.
Pero la parte común, nos gustó mucho. Piscina e instalaciones limpias, bien cuidado y un buen servicio."
