"Hotel is run down. No hot water, this is known by front desk. Breakfast didn't start till 8am and it was very light ( 2 eggs and slice of bread). Key didn't work in safe. And the nearby music volume increased at 3am to the point car alarms were going off. No way a 5 star hotel, maybe a 2 star."

"The experience at Hotel Gran Real Punta Cana II in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, was disappointing. The hotel indicated that it had not received the reservation payment from Expedia, and staff stated that similar issues had affected other Expedia guests. The room was very basic and lacked adequate bed linens. The bathroom had no towel rack, no shower curtain, and no hot water. In addition, the hotel is located in an area that may not feel secure to some travelers. Its address is difficult to...

Otras noches salíamos a probar restaurantes diferentes.

"The guest policy is crazy. My daughter could not visit with me (divorce vacation). Many calls and they never bothered trying to work with me. Security is tight, but it seems many rooms have the exact same door code for entry to the room. I accidentally entered the wrong room, the folks in that room told me it’s the same code for the correct room next door. The remote for the large AC was missing, the small AC did not work. DR is hot and humid, no AC is insane. There is no way to use the...

"A lot of xtra charged as maintenace, hydro, admin fees taxes which have to be paid cash before you have access to your room.the room its very poorly maintained, kitchen with out minimum supplied dishes cutlery, not even matches or cleaning supplies to clean the dishes, furniture very wear out and not maintained, washroom faucets leaking..not a place to enjoy a vacation for the moneys paid. There are better places with openly costs than Sol Caribe.."

"The bed sheets were ripped, there were bugs, and the pillowcase was stained. The room also had a noticeable humidity problem. Since there was construction going on, there was dust all over the place, which made the environment even less comfortable. Overall, I didn’t find it to be a very suitable or comfortable environment, especially for female guests. Considering the condition of the accommodation, I don’t think the price is worth it. The cleanliness was also a major issue, and this is...

"It was terrible because the place is in poor condition, it's like an abandoned condominium. There were fleas in the bed, the dirty walls of the ahua, the leaky water, that place should not be rented, a terrible experience, we left the next day"

"Very nice and large studio with a kitchenette that includes a sink, microwave, small fridge and a 2 burner electric stove. Utensils, glassware and some pots and pans provided. AC works great. Large bath. Very clean except for a dusty porcelain tile floor. Beachfront with great view, quiet and secure and conveniently located 10 minutes from the airport. A little far from where most restaurants are located so that a taxi or golf car rental is needed. There are however 3 casual restaurants within...

"I wish there is some toilet paper, some more towels ( there is only 2). We do not know what is body wash and what is shampoo as it is not marked."
