"The room was nice, clean and updated - breakfast was a nice touch. But this hotel is incredibly loud. We stayed 5 nights and every single night we battled with excessive noise, doors slamming, loud hallways etc. I understand the staff have little control over its guests, but there was no effort made. We have young children and our stay was exhausting due to the excessive noise and disrespect of others. One other note is the elevator - there’s only one and it’s very slow, and always packed....

"The suite was not cleaned at check in. The owner was heard telling a cleaning company to just wipe down the suite eve. When cleaner was standing before me telling owner that the suite was stained and needed proper clean. I over heard this exchange. I then called the owner shocked by this unprofessional and unacceptable condition. I was then assured I would be given a 15% discount for the eventual 2 hour delay of entry. What bothered me was that the owner was just telling cleaner not to do the...

"Pictures on website did not match reality. Motel room had been updated in the cheapest way possible. Example door knob of closet was stuck on and came off the door when I opened the it. Toilet paper holder was stuck on the side of a cabinet. Outside looked run down and most people appeared to be permanent residents."

"Great view from room. You can see ferries going in a distance as well as the Malahat to Victoria. On clear days you can see Vancouver and the Washington coast. Seen deer eating on the property. Very clean and quiet."
