"The room itself was spacious but my bottom bedsheet was stained and the bathmat was badly strained also nowhere to hang the towels and no shelf in the bathroom apart from a cupboard which we couldn't use as badly stained underneath the very small sink plus 2 light bulbs not working!!"

"Friendly welcoming staff, varied menu and excellent food and atmosphere in the bar area. Good choice of breakfast and plenty of it. Clean and quiet room with a comfortable bed and small but adequate en-suite. We would stay again and would happily recommend it to others."

"It was clean and bright and great location. Would absolutely stay again but it was hot weather and no AC, however cooled down at night, and there was a fan. Great bathtub! Very lovely staff."

"On the whole, our experience was positive. The room was spotless, relatively recently decorated, and with fairly good amenities. We had some difficulty locating the kettle, which was in built-in wardrobe rather than next to the tea and coffee, cups etc, however those guests needing wardrobe space wouldn’t be disappointed. There was also a mini fridge. The beds and bedding were immaculate and good quality, and there were limited toiletries provided. Unfortunately though, I have taken off one...
