"When we checked in, from outside we thought it would not be a good clean place but we were wrong. The room was very clean. Property was down the strip away from all the traffic and noise but walkable to general tourist area strip. The beach is around the corner. They have a lobby with microwave and fridge that can be used. Plan your day because they will not allow earlier check in than 2pm. We were willing to pay an extra fee but check in time was firm although we’re were the only tourist there....

"Excellent location by a beautiful beach with people enjoying the weekend. But it is peaceful and empty during the week, especially heading west for 10 minutes, where you walk along a thin strip of coastline between the ocean and the jungle, seeing rock outcroppings, birds, and surf while hearing all sorts of sounds from nature. "

"Ocean across the street. Awesome!!! Good clean AC in room. Outdoor kitchen with everything needed for cooking. Pool open 24hr. Very comfortable and quiet. Simple room thats priced right! Very happy. "

"Only problem was the ants were able to come from under the door And Costa Rica ants but other then that 65 dollars can’t beat it"

"The Republic is doing a major remodeling! The rooms was big, clean and very nice! They have a disco on site! The noise didn’t bother me at all! The staff was beyond excellent!! I went fishing and they cooked my catch for me for dinner! I know once they finish the remodel it will be 5 stars all the way! I will definitely be back to them!!"

"Esta propiedad superó mis expectativas ,muy seguro ,las habitaciones modernas ,limpio y el staff (Leo y Sandra ) fueron muy amables !! Está muy bien ubicada a solo 300 mts del centro de Jacó ,hay una tienda de vinos y destilados al lado ,supermercado al frente y restaurantes muy cerca del lugar . Espero regresar pronto y por más días ! "
