"This hotel is a very good value for the cost (given its location). It is simple, but well-maintained and the rooms are well-equipped and feel 'fresh'. The area around the hotel is a bit uneven and not a place I would choose to spend any time. It is a 10-15 minute walk from a much more lively area, coffee shops, and BART. Buses just in front of the hotel if walking is unwelcome."

"The perfect place to stay for a lover of History architecture and uniqueness. We got to stay on the top floor with a great City View . I picked this place for the historical pool and loved everything else . The breakfast food was outstanding and the dining hall delightful as well. We walked to a concert at the Greek Theater and found a late night food court on the way home. I will spend more time in the hotel next time I stay here! "This is an old property that is well maintained. The staff was awesome! I was staying to attend an event at UC Berkeley. At the event I seriously cut my finger. In the morning after I needed a bandaid. They not only gave me a bandage, they also provided antibiotic ointment. I felt taken care of and really appreciated that. I’d definitely stay here again if I catch another show at the Greek Theater at UC Berkeley/ "

"Sens Hotel and Bistro was a charming and comfortable place to stay for several days while I attended to personal business. The room itself was attractive and well-appointed. There were many toiletries available for the forgetful. The bed was very comfortable and there were lights and plugs everywhere I needed them to be. The staff was friendly and helpful. I will definitely return!"

"There were no towels. There was no remote for the tele. There were also no fridge/microwave, but, i don't believe any/all of those had been promised to start with. It was, kind of, filthy in there, but, was definitely not poopy or anything."
