"We loved our stay at Tityra Lodge! The rooms were lovely and very clean, and the view was beautiful. Everyone was so friendly, the service was excellent, and the food was delicious. We’d happily stay here again!"

"Beautiful place and convenient location"

"Amazing room and amazing staff. So very helpful and informative!"

"First of all, view the stunning! I spent a whole morning sit at the swing and enjoy the view. It’s quiet and beautiful. Great place to relax. Room is spacious and clean. Jose, the owner is super friendly and helpful. Totally recommend."

"No words I can write could ever do this place justice. The views are unbelievable and the amenities in the room go above and beyond expectations! There were umbrellas, card games, a telescope for looking at the stars, an outside lounge net, a hot tub on the balcony, and even the shower had a window with an amazing view! Alex was so welcoming and friendly! He recommended the best dining spots and brought us on a night-walking tour and a guided tour of the Monteverde Hanging Bridges!"

"Had a hard time getting the shower to produce hot water"

"Great place to stay! Single rooms are perfect if you'd like to have your privacy and do not want to spend on Hilton :) You have your own little bathroom included. Kitchen is tiny but equipped enough for guests' needs. Reception staff is very helpful and will advise and organize everything you need during your stay in Monteverde. One of the best hostels I've ever been. Will miss that place!"

"This place was one of our favorites in Costa Rica. The views are breathtaking. The outdoor balcony with unique hammock, swing, and jacuzzi tub was our favorite place to enjoy morning coffee and their incredible breakfast! They provided cozy housecoats as well that keep you warm on the chilly mornings. Javier was amazing. So personable, thoughtful and kind. I loved all the small details put into the cabins and the cheery burst of color in the decor. The property is gorgeous and a great...

"Our cabin was a small basic cabin with a kitchenette. The grounds were maintained well and there were some trails to walk. The property was in a gated area and a little removed from the road but we still could hear the road at times. We found a roach in the bathroom and some tiny ants on the kitchen table when we first got in our room."

"Un lugar súper lindo, cercano del centro. La atención del personal es excelente, son muy serviciales y dan buena información. Las habitaciones muy limpias."

"The pensione is right in town and has nice shared Spaces - indoor and out. Staff is extremely nice and helpful. Could use a fan in the room but overall it was a nice place to stay for a couple days"

"Great location to shops and restaurants. Booked all excursions through hostel, they were super helpful in arranging everything we needed."

"Great place"

"Es war wunderschön, ein tropischer Garden, schönes Haus mit Balkon und liebevoll Gastgeber mit wertvollen Tipps für Aktivitäten, Essen und Shopping. Wir möchten es sehr!"

"Rooms were clean and tidy but the kitchen was not. Coffee maker had mold, silverware and dishes were not clean, we ended up eating out instead of cooking. Pool was beautiful and clean. Property was a wonderful place to relax and explore. Proximity to town was great assuming you have transportation. Check out the garden Maze nextdoor."

"10000/10 Javier was a wonderful host, would highly recommend. He was very accommodating, very helpful with local suggestions. We had issues finding the location, he even went to go find us. Absolutely wonderful experience. The dome was one of the coolest experiences we’ve had yet."
