"The rooms where beautiful. Upon arrival we got told they had upgraded our room. The room was amazing the staff where all friendly, We had the full english the next morning and this is a must its lovely! Overall fantastic stay and we will definitely be back! "

"We originally had a deluxe double however on check in realised it didn't have a shower, was a bit misleading on the hotel pages as it says 'bath or shower' so could have been a bit clearer. However we spoke to the staff and they swapped our room so it turned out fine :) The hotel is in a lovely location, very short walk to the centre so nice and peaceful"

"2 adults and 3 young kids so finding a hotel that accommodates all in one room is difficult but I found this little gem. We had a room with one double bed and 3 single beds. Beds really comfortable, room very clean. Tea and coffee making facilities and a mini fridge with bottles of water provided. Plenty of clean towels and small bottles of showergel etc. Only a few minutes walk from the city walls. Great place to stay for the price. Staff were really friendly and helpful. "I liked the hotel overall, parking wasn’t easy very small car park. The pool was shallow not brilliant for swimming. Food in the evening wasn’t the best, I had duck in a sauce which was very watery not what I expected. Breakfast was great and a nice bar to sit in . Would definitely recommend "

"Lovely property and lovely staff at pub. Great food and drink and very friendly service. Amazing value stay. Unfortunately heavy rain the night we stayed led to some leaks in property and bubbling drains in early hours of morning which hopefully can be fixed soon. Bad luck for us but otherwise would have been great."
