"Likes: Very courteous and friendly front-desk staff that were extremely helpful in meeting our needs (special recognition to Derrick and Mar); very comfortable and spacious room well-equipped with amenities, great location in close walking distance to shopping and dining, and to Washington Park, reasonable room rates. Did not like: Very tight parking spaces at the Suites (we regularly parked across the street at the Inn, which had wider parking spaces), less than satisfactory housekeeping...

"It was the perfect amount of relaxed and attentive. The staff were friendly and helpful and provided recommendations when asked. We loved the ease of the location as we used public transit while exploring the city and rented a car from a block and a half away for a day trip. The main lobby / restaurant space is fantastic. Perfect spot for a quiet morning coffee and an afternoon hang. "

"The staff were so nice and accommodating!! The beds were very comfy, shower had the best shower head and the hot water was amazing. It was very close to a lot of places and the freeway. The most amazing part was you can watch the Rose parade from the balcony or even your room. We were three girls staying alone and they gave us the safest room without a window in the front (no one was creeping/breaking in). It is family owned and they were the nicest people!! Would definitely recommend and stay...

"The outside of the hotel/ home is beautiful, I love and appreciate well kept historic homes and the neighborhood. I stayed in room #4, which is cozy and big enough for me to move around and lay/ sleep in both of the beds. The decorations are well thought out and added to the ambiance to this great home/ hotel. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone and will rebook when I'm in Portland again."
