"Unfortunately there was no shower in my ensuite and I was too fussy to use the shared shower, also it was too noisy for me as I was working long shifts so I had to cancel after the first night. However the pub downstairs looked really busy and welcoming & the staff were absolutely fantastic."
"Lovely property and friendly hosts. Listing on Hotels.com doesn't state number of dogs allowed, which is actually only one, but host was very understanding and accommodated us and our pets. Well located for exploring the North Devon coastal region, Bideford is lovely and we also had a great day at Westward Ho! Hot tub at the house was most welcome in the evening after a long day exploring the coastal path."
"Our 2nd stay at the Sailors Rest...Nice room with fantastic views & a huge king size bed... Great shower & mini fridge with fresh milk & water ...nice touch. Happy with our 1 night stay in Beautiful Appledore & hopefully will return to the Sailors Rest in the future."
"Arrived late at our stay and then realised that we had in fact booked for the weekend after! Disaster after a 6 hour drive and very little options. We apologised and explained the error to our host. Amazingly and also luckily the host immediately went to work setting up an alternative glamping pod for us to stay in. The place was immaculate, hosts are extremely friendly and everything about the trip was perfect and as described. We will certainly be returning."

"We had the best week imaginable in this adorable shepherd's hut. The communication with the host was impeccable and they were friendly, helpful and efficient with every query.
The hot tub is huge, as is the outside area for relaxing - the garden area is well shaded through the evening by trees and there is a field of beautiful cows for company. Bring logs etc for the tub, barbeque and log burner. It feels very private and isolated but it's relatively close to all the nearby amenities in...

The hosts were so kind and couldn't have been more helpful. It was so peaceful being surrounded by fields. The cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated, and the bed was comfy! We will be returning again in the future."
"Wunderschön hergerichtetes und eingerichtetes altes Haus. Alles war sehr sauber, das Wohnzimmer sehr gemütlich und die Betten bequem. Modernes Bad. Die Kommunikation mit den netten Besitzern verlief problemlos. Der Ort ist sehr klein, aber es gibt einen Pub und einen Spar mit langen Öffnungszeiten. Für uns war es ein super Ausgangspunkt in die Nationalparks und Devon."
