"The hotel was in a good place, not too far from the town centre and also easy to get back onto the M5. It was also good having the free car park with ample spaces. The staff were helpful. The only downfall the mattresses are very soft and when there are 2 of you in bed you both end up rolling into the middle together. The walls are quite thin and we could hear someone in the next room plugging something in and unplugging it again."

Die Betten waren tatsächlich ok, die Matratzen auch. Das Bad war alt, aber sauber.
Jetzt zum Negativen: unser Fenster ging zum Innenhof, Lüften ging eher nicht, da da auch die Abluft der Küche hinging und es quasi überall nach Frittierfett roch. Es war laut und hellhörig, im Innenhof lief den ganzen Tag und bis spät in die Nacht Waschmaschine und Trockner
Erholsam ist anders.
Würde ich nicht nochmal buchen oder weiterempfehlen"
"Great room with lovely seating area in the middle of Ilfracombe. Carparking handy and cheap. Lots to do and see. Just one problem with the gutter outside the room leaking with heavy rain and very noisy. A part from that, perfect, with Woolacombe bay surfing just 15mins down the road."
"Unfortunately there was no shower in my ensuite and I was too fussy to use the shared shower, also it was too noisy for me as I was working long shifts so I had to cancel after the first night. However the pub downstairs looked really busy and welcoming & the staff were absolutely fantastic."
"The place itself is unique, very quiet amazing views all around, very clean inside the apartment and the place is very nice, the owners are amazing, kind , lovely people, can’t wait to visit them again, we can highly recommend it to anyone interested visiting this part of the country.

"Lovely property and friendly hosts. Listing on Hotels.com doesn't state number of dogs allowed, which is actually only one, but host was very understanding and accommodated us and our pets. Well located for exploring the North Devon coastal region, Bideford is lovely and we also had a great day at Westward Ho! Hot tub at the house was most welcome in the evening after a long day exploring the coastal path."
"This was an absolute find - what an amazing experience, it felt like we were on a mini retreat im the most beautiful surroundings. The cows in the field and the sunset to watch - all whilst enjoying a glass of fizz in the hot tub. A totally zen experience. My 2 dogs found the whole experience top notch too! A huge personal thanks go to the owners who went above and beyond to help me out after a little car trouble - kindness like that is really quite special - thank you again for a lovely stay."
"Arrived late at our stay and then realised that we had in fact booked for the weekend after! Disaster after a 6 hour drive and very little options. We apologised and explained the error to our host. Amazingly and also luckily the host immediately went to work setting up an alternative glamping pod for us to stay in. The place was immaculate, hosts are extremely friendly and everything about the trip was perfect and as described. We will certainly be returning."
"Our 2nd stay at the Sailors Rest...Nice room with fantastic views & a huge king size bed... Great shower & mini fridge with fresh milk & water ...nice touch. Happy with our 1 night stay in Beautiful Appledore & hopefully will return to the Sailors Rest in the future."
"I enjoyed my stay. The caravan was clean and tidy and was in a nice position with a view. There was everything you could need for cooking, together with games, dvds, magazines etc.
Good to have outdoor space to sit and eat.
The site is hilly, maybe not suitable for those with mobility issues. The pool was a nice space.
Short walk down (and uphill back) to the beach and cafes etc, great for paddle boarding as it's very sheltered.
Great area with lot's of lovely places to visit.
