Yes, the bathroom layout (sink in the room, shower with a hole instead of a lock) was strange, but can be overlooked when you take into account what you’re paying and how much other hotels are. The area might make some people feel uncomfortable, but I never felt threatened. 2 metro stations are close by and you can be in the centre quite quickly. "Staff are very helpful and knows english very well. They allow luggage storage after check out. Room smaller than expected but it has an en suite bathroom which is what we were after anyways. Room is cleaned everyday which was truly surprising (in a good way). Free hot drinks downstairs - i noticed the machine used is similar to what some cafes have.
