"Great boutique hotel in the middle of the 4th arrondissement of Paris. Very conveniently located near the Bastille exit of the Metro and near the Bastille in general. Many restaurants and shopping located in the area. Really great room. All I needed during my visit was a bed and shower and that was provided. For a single traveler, it was a great room. "Quaint, simple boutique hotel with character. Room on small side but that’s Paris! Lovely spot in Le Marais district, easy walk to Metro, cafes and restaurants etc (recommend Comptoir des Mers on same street for excellent seafood) Breakfast served in rocky/basement no view but cosy looking, had the essentials although out of action during stay for 2/3 mornings with no explanation as to why! "The lift makes a terrible metallic scraping noise between a couple of the floors, which was easily audible from the room; it was in regular use well into the early hours, so I got little sleep. The lift is also tiny and feels like a death trap. There's even a sign in it telling guests not to leave the door open for too long as this makes it break down! The cleaners put their trolleys on the small landings of the staircase, so you have to squeeze past these in the mornings if you don't fancy...
