"First time at Tru. It was really great. The basics in the room are the only ones I really needed. I liked that they had a Peloton bike, but I wish they would maintain it better. The gym was fine, overall. The elevator was a little dirty, so that needed some attention. There was also no bath gel in the shower, so that was a bummer. But bar soap was offered.The front staff was super helpful and courteous. Overall, I’d stay again."

"Our recent stay at the Hampton Inn in Albany was truly great. From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The staff members (specially at the reception) went above and beyond to ensure that we felt good. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. Hotel offer complimentary breakfast as well. The hotel's location was also convenient, providing easy access to local amenities. Everything was within reach. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone...

"Good place to stay. Suite with living area was best as the other rooms had small bathroom right off bedroom that was open so lack of privacy. Good breakfasts! Clean hotel. Pool was chilly. Good workout room. Across street from police department so heard some sirens but felt safe. "

"The light bulb in the bathroom is too dim for us, it's a couple of yellow light bulb, seemed still missing a couple,and there's another sink outside the bathroom, it's a very strong white light bulb. It's a totally contrast that makes the room less comfortable than it should be."

"Staff and property were very nice and polite. Other guests were loud and disruptive in the halls. Smoke Detector began chirping from low battery. No one’s fault and issue corrected. Front desk briefed."

"I had never been to Troy/Albany before, and was a bit apprehensive about staying near a major metropolitan area like this, but I was soon put at ease. The location was excellent, parking wasn't any problem at all, and the area was safe. The staff was helpful and accomodated my wife's request to keep her freezer bags in their freezer overnight. I highly recommend the Dinosaur BBQ for dinner--they're right across the street, on the east bank of the Hudson river. Rensselaer University is just a few...
