"We had the best time at Hamilton hotel....owner were very friendly and upgraded all our rooms...facilities nice and new....bed was super comfy....we will definitely be back....highly recommended"

"Excellent accommodation, very obliging staff and excellent continental breakfasts. Would recommend every time."

"Amazing staff and facilities are currently being updated. The hot pools were a nice feature."

"Wish we had read the reviews. We probably wouldn't have booked. Definitely not value for money. No real amenities, not even a bar of soap in our ensuite room. No tv, pretty much a bed and towels. Water was lukewarm in shower and we were worried it was going to flood until hubby used his foot as a plunger for drain . Pub music only played till 11pm thank goodness."

"Tidy unit, place is a little run down but absolutely fine and the price was fantastic! Walls are very thin so you can hear your neighbours but overall it was a very quiet and comfortable stay. Lovely accomodating staff!"

"Location was close to the football field for my son's tournament. Also easy to check in and out."

"Great place"

"The location was very convenient, but the rooms had poor soundproofing, especially those facing the main road and located near the office and the owner's living quarters. We could clearly hear conversations and footsteps from upstairs during the night and early in the morning, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep."

"No lounge (only a kitchenette/dining area) and an average bathroom. Odd layout with the second bedroom off the first. Nice and quiet, very handy, but probably not tot eh standard of newer facilities in Cambridge"

"For the reasonable price this motel brings its ok for the person who wants or requires a bed and shower only it's perfect, but if they require a little extra it's noisy and has no water pressure in the plumbing system .,windows are dirty on the outside, marked carpet and tired.. hard bed , and well used towels."

"Fantastic staff, good location. Rooms were clean and warm :)"

"From the start, the communication with Liz was very prompt and clear. All I needed to know was provided to us. The chalet was clean and the bathrooms are modern. We did not feel rushing on check out during our final day which added value to the whole experience. Shame the next New Zealand Dragon Boat Nationals will be held elsewhere next year, otherwise, I would have booked again. Maybe for some other trip down in Karapiro. Awesome service, Liz and team!"
