"Mixed feeling of RIXXA hotel. Its very well located and the staff are friendly enough, but by guessing that its ran by 2 reception staff - for thw time i was aat the hotel (about 4 days) i never once had a room clean and had ro go and ask for toilet paper (for which they didnt have!). Pretty basic rooms with no wardrobe nor desk - just a bed and and an adjacent bathroom (shower, sink and toilet- which drips constantly!). The breakfast wasn't really worth getting up for either. I don't mind cheap...

"Very disappointing. We got a standard room, the bed was so uncomfortable, you could feel all the springs through the mattress. There was no pressure in the bathroom (we did mention it). Be aware that every night we were there the place right next to it plays gig very loudly until 1/2am so not a chance of an early night as they don’t have double glazing. The rooftop itself is great and the food very enjoyable. The staff up there was nice. "

"Busy hostel in busy part of El Alto. Very convenient for the airport, and the hotel arranged a pick up and also got me a tasty food take away delivered. The bed was also really comfortable. Only downside was check in was a bit clunky until the person with a bit of English rocked up. "

"We picked this hostal as somewhere we could leave our luggage and get in a quick shower before our night bus to La Paz so we did not actually stay the night there. Our family has traveled a lot a has done this in the past with no problem, but here, because the room had only been booked for two people, only two our of four of us could go into the room. Oh and this was after we lugged our four 50 lb (about 23kgs) roller luggages up the six flights of stairs it took to get there...In the end we...
