"Exceptional. We had messed up our booking dates and the hotel was so accomodating. The staff were just wonderful and we had a lovely breakfast and delicious dinner. We only had one night here as we had just landed in Bolivia. With the altitude change it was tough but the hotwl had oxygen tanks avaialable. We also had a lovley massage in their spa which was great after our long flight.. highly recommend! "

Rodrigo, Tania & Reynaldo, the staff, are kind and helpful; they made us feel so at home, including the landlady who prepared our breakfast every morning. The location is great too because it's a safe area right in the heart of Mercado de Brujas with lots of shops with handicraft and musical instruments. There are also a few eating options around. Finally, the view is fantastic from the hotel. We were very lucky bc from our room we could see the beautiful Illimani, but if you don't get a room like ours, you ca always go up to the top floor and get an amazing view from there too. We highly recommend ALTA VISTA if you are in La Paz."

"This is a business hotel, but the room was spacious, distinct desk area, and heated floors. The heated floors were amazing. Close to the main street in La Paz and restaurants. Elevators, and a nice lobby area and small outside seating/smoking area."

"We had a lovely time there! However there are no heaters in the rooms so you will be a bit cold. Also there is a window at the top of the door that lets the light in from the hall 24/7. Extremely warm and helpful staff."
