"They didn't have a stopper for the bathroom sink. The furniture was out dated. The rug felt dirty. You could see through the curtains. Is was a hassle trying to get up with staff. Not one did they offer clean towels or to clean room. I took out the trash myself and had no bags for the trash can. The ice bucket was cracked on the buttom. So I took the liberty to throw it out. The only thing I like about it the price was reasonable."

"Great location and staff was very friendly and helpful"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will stay here again if we’re in the area. It is not fancy at all but had what we had to have. Next time, I will bring Kleenex and paper towels but there was plenty of soap, towels, and toilet paper. Owners were very friendly and maintain a family-safe hotel. We loved walking along the river right behind our room."

"It was a very Old fashioned hotel. The bathroom was so small that you couldn't even really hardly get into the shower around the sink. The ice machine ran out of ice. And the sheets were very scratchy. Overall, it was fine for an overnight place to sleep"

"This property is very clean and perfect for a family getaway to the mountains. I give this property 5-Stars because it was tremendous value and met trip needs perfectly. The house is close to Cherokee and to several white-water rafting companies on the Nantahala River. One thing to note: be prepared to be unplugged. I loved it, but it took a minute for my wife and kids to accept that there is no internet or ATT cell service. No emails, no phone calls, no texts. Perfect for me, but maybe not...

"By far probably one of the best cabins I have ever stayed in!! It was very clean. Had everything that you need. Amazing coffee bar inside the cabin and by far the best view in that area of the mountain range and stargazing! The host was very sweet, very helpful. I will definitely stay there again and recommend to friends and family."

"The bathroom had no heat had to leave the door open so that it wouldn’t be so cold The TV didn’t work great but they did come and work on it Over all it was ok !!!"

"The Motel was old but very comfortable and well located within Bryson City. The manager was very helpful and friendly. He had a map available of Bryson City with restaurants and other available areas of interest. He was most helpful. I would recommend this motel to others. "
