"Check in was really easy, guy on reception (over the road) explained everything to us and gave us our paperwork. We had a top floor room which was no problem as there was a lift. Room was really clean. The kitchenette was great (although we didn't use it) it had everything you could need. Mattress on the bed could do with being replaced as it wasn't the comfiest but still able to sleep decent. Overall we were completely satisfied with our stay and would definitely book again."

"I stayed at the Lord Nelson for 5 days. The hotel was hot, noisy and the young staff member did not help me out at all with getting a fan for my hot room, he said there was no ice at the hotel and he did nothing about the noisy person(s) in the room. I complained EVERY morning and sometimes late at night and was told the person stomping around above me would be approached by staff...never happened. I also was without hot water for 4 days.....apparently, the hot water had to come up in pipes from...

"What a bargain! Great hotel at the price, and all staff weee very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Would recommend as location was excellent, with very little noise meaning a great sleep despite being centrally located."

"Very unusual hotel in that there is no reception or staff to be seen. You are sent your entry codes via message for internal and external entry. Very clean and tidy and a super central location. Was surprised to get a maid service but then disapointed we didn't get teas and milks replaced. First world problems. The room had a fridge but it didn't work and so much my milk curdled in it. The shower was powerful but the water was tepid at best. Lots of noise at night due to it's central location...

"Good place for short stay. This is a student accommodation and it is close to the campus of several universities in Liverpool. The staff is gentle and proactive, the facility is clean and well maintained. I felt safe and comfortable for the purpose which was related to academic matters. I recommend it."
