"The property is on the main road, so we parked at the Mercure Hotel which gives you 24 hours for £10 and is a short walk. There is free parking in some of the side roads but you need to be gone by 8 am. The room was clean and well ventilated and the staff on the phone were very friendly and helpful."

"No thanks to Expedia who booked a us a family room for us when none was available- however the staff at the hotel were great and were able to find a solution for one night. Hotel is in a great spot and the staff are very accommodating."

"First time staying at Oakover, just a walk from the beach, onsite parking and nice tea/coffee station, no skimping with loads of free teabags and milk cartons. I would book again."

"Room was terrible very small could hardly walk round the bed. Shower had lots of Black mould no ventilation, the bed was shocking desperately need a new mattress, very uncomfortable, lots of cobwebs everywhere and because there were no windows you could open was very musty. Will not be recommending this place"

"Normal a cheap room doubled in price because of concerts. Over a gyros shop, which is has decent food and a discount for residents. Property is in need of redecoration , carpets etc… and can be noisy on the street side with single glazed windows. Shower leaked .. cold water tap loose .. tv remote not working ….a bit uncared for , BUT the bed and bedding was clean and towels ok. For a normal one night stay it’s ok"

"I'm sure I could have given 5 stars for everything had we been able to stay. Never received check-in information and Stayright couldn't confirm our booking even though I emailed receipts of payment and booking details from Wotif. Said problem had something to do with booking through Wotif. Took 3 hours to reach a solution which in the end was finding us another property to stay in. That part we were extremely grateful for, but the whole process was extremely stressful."

"Called for one while exploring the Somerset Levels. Perfect location for managed to book the last room, this was the largest of all the rooms available comfortable, clean & very spacious. The propriter was very welcoming on arrival and made us tea to take in the rear."
