"The staff were amazing, couldn't do enough for you, but it had lots wrong in our rooms, hairdryer didn't work/ over bed lights weren't even connected in, in the other room i booked the shower shot out at every angle/ there was only 1 shower door on so the water ended up all over the toilet & bathroom, & it was more like a shoe box than a room the size of it"

"Couldn't get hot tap to turn on in bathroom had a job with cold tap did manage to turn it on but had a job to turn off kept running so took several attempts to turn off"

"Poor maintenance of the property "

"The hotel is now shut down and has been for two months"

"Proper country pub great food and ale and quiet location"

"Got there "

"It’s not a hotel, it’s a lodging house No facilities, no breakfast"

"IT'S A SCAM HOTEL, It's totally run down with the local council shut down and a locked notice on the front door. I couldn't even step in because the frontage was dirty, broken, old and overground with weed. A man came out with his stuff and said he was also scammed and had to go sleep in his car for the night. Horrible"

"Photos don't do this place justice. I had a very comfortable stay in their cosy studio. Very clean. High quality bedding. Plenty channels on the smart tv. Fast reliable wifi and good cooking facilities."

"Great stay! The staff were super friendly, helpful, and responded very quickly. The rooms are neat and tidy, and while not very big, they’re perfectly adequate for one person. The communal area with an air fryer and microwave is also very convenient. It’s also just a minute walk to the beach! Very good location. Overall, a lovely place for a solo stay!"

"When we arrived there were no towels. We contacted the number provided and were passed to an AI agent. It was 3 days after we left that someone got in touch. No apology or refund. Very poor"

"Do not book with this hotel. It has been closed down since 2023 and the company are still taking peoples money. I had to threaten them with the Police to receive a refund. They are part of the OYO group which is situated in India. They have at least 4 hotels in Great Yarmouth that are all closed down and are still taking bookings "

"Lady who runs it was lovely very clean room smelt lovely room was a bit small and bed was not very comfortable but every thing else was spot on"

"Booked 3nights, Only stayed 2. General condition I felt was poor. Macerator toilet noisy for most of night. Location is good though."

"It says its a b&b but you have to pay extra for breakfast which is £10 pp. Otherwise it was okay"

"Great location and lovely property with 2 spacious bedrooms. Unfortunately the fridge had not been closed and cleaned and was leaking ice cream and wet towels had been left in the washing machine which was a disappointment. Very enjoyable weekend in Aldeburgh."

"Great weekend with the family. One point that is not mentioned is the stairs are narrow and steep to the furst floor is hard for older people to manage. Apart from that it was a perect stay with everything thats needed."

"Warm welcoming hosts, nice room, lovely area, parking"
