"The Saracens is old but has character, the staff were very good and the food was brilliant (Chardonnay very nice too!) The stairs were a bit steep and beds a bit narrow. Not expensive, don't do breakfast but a few doors away lovely café did! A pleasant stay."

"Terrible place to stay. The shared bathroom had broken and dirty toilet seat, the music in the bar each night was loud and raucous. Couldn't get any sleep. Left before the end of planned stay - Don't stay there!"

"Our stay was lovely, clean, cosy, and quiet area. 5 minute walk into the city. Nice walk in the park opposite. Onsite parking a bonus. Unfortunately the bed mattress needs an upgrade in our opinion. Otherwise all really good."
