AC unit was nice to have as it was very hot when we were in town. felt very safe but the front door to the building was difficult to open. a bit noisy at night but to be expected considering the location, nothing some white noise or earplugs cannot fix. overall a great place to stay."

"Excellent location 8 minute walk from Marseille St Charles station arriving from Lyon, also 8 minutes to the old harbour Vieux Port busiest place with all the sights and restaurants around. Tram stop just in front on the line to Palais Longchamp. Whereas you can take the airport shuttle from St Charles, taxi cost us €90! Good clean comfortable room with minibar and electric kettle but no bottled water provided. Friendly courteous and helpful staff, Julia and others. Didn’t manage on our last day to get a late lunch just after 2 as their restaurant Capucin also open to the street had closed. Will stay again."

"The Grand Hotel Beauvau was very nice hotel to stay during my two days in Marseille. It was very convenient so I didn't have to worry about spending time getting to places of interest during my short visit. The hotel is two stops away on the M1 Metro line from Gare Saint-Charles, and one block away from The wateefront at Vieux Port and all of the dining options aling the marina. Le Panier is close as well. It is easy to walk to several sites such as Cathedral La Major, Abbaye Saint Victor, and the Mucem. My hotel room was very spacious, clean and quiet. The staff was very friendly and considerate. "
