"A Fascinating and perhaps haunted hotel off the beaten track. You will drive through the beautiful mountains to get there and it’s located in the shadow of an ancient Abby. The staff is lovely, the food at the in-house restaurant is great. And definitely get a bottle of the house red (it’s amazing). You will not be sorry you made this journey. "

"There was 7 of us that stayed here at the end of June into July for 10 nights. This is better than the pictures show, the location was fantastic (you will ideally need a car to see Tuscany if not Arezzo train station has good links and is about 15 minute taxi journey away). The pool was a god send and better than we expected and is a really good size. The table tennis in the late afternoon shade provided good entertainment and house was fully equipped. Maurizio the host is an absolute gent, and was so helpful in helping us settle in and giving some great advice on places to go and places to eat. Would 100% recommend"

"Walk 5 minutes to a village with grocery store or simply sit by the pool to enjoy the view. This villa has it all! Our family of 10 (adults and kids) spent 2 weeks at Villa Maria and would recommend it for its amenities and location. The host, Tomasso, and chef, Donato, were the ultimate guides and helpers. Take the train into Florence to avoid parking a car. Experience Borroncino Restaurant in Reggello for a gastronomic treat. We would certainly return to this heavenly spot for touring Tuscany."
