"We just needed a place to stay one night so didn't need anything fancy. But it could have been more comfortable. Issues were: loud freeway traffic noise, and an extra loud construction dumpster being loaded up in the early morning. Terrible tiny pillows and and uncomfortable bed. Odd little bits of wear and tear, not well maintained. We got the regular king room instead of upgrading to the larger one - it was quite compact; no complaints about that for one night, but I'd definitely get the...

"We stayed here to go to a nearby concert at Grand Casino Arena, which was walking distance under a mile. We enjoyed the evening reception and nice breakfast. This appears to be a former embassy suites hotel and it is very nice."

"I was attending the yacht club music festival at harriet island park, so the location couldn’t have been better. Very nice hotel, nice rooms, decent gym, restaurant and a breakfast cafe onsite or you can do room service. Very walkable to most things in St. Paul and an easy bus ride from MSP if you don’t want to pay ride share prices. I would definitely stay here again."

"Staff were very friendly and helpful! WiFi was great and breakfast was, too. The ground floor room I stayed in had quite a musty smell and the air ran all night no matter how I adjusted the settings. The neighborhood felt a little sketchy in the evening hours. I enjoyed the historic aspects of the building."
