"Extremely Heavy smoke smell and the building did not seem very safe or secure as every time we came in or out, the side door was either not latched or held open with a rock."

"It took a long time to check in. The clerk kept going to “check on something”. She finally told us she wanted to make sure everything worked in the room the switched us to. The shower didn’t drain properly and was disgusting with things floating in the tub that came up out of the drain. Looking at my invoice, there was a $20 charge for incidentals. Instead of refunding it, they charged it again. I’m going to give it a day or so to see if that changes. If not, I’m definitely calling them. We didn’t do anything extra and the front desk clerk said it would be refunded. We’ll see!"

"Everything was amazing!! The only reason I picked good and not excellent is because I think it’s ridiculous that they charge $14/night to park. I’m paying to stay there so parking should be included especially since it’s a little bit of a walk from the parking lot to the hotel."

"Everything was fantastic aside from people not watching their kids in the pool or telling them to stop screaming. I know kids will be kids and I'm perfectly fine with it as long as they're properly supervised. Plus the pool room echoes a lot so the screaming was a bit much. But I was more concerned about their safety as the floor was soaked and they were running and jumping into the pool. But everything was clean. And the hot tub was hot which we loved!"

"The staff was great. Greeted upon arrival by the front desk with a prompt check in. I was surprised by the size of this hotel. The lobby was bright and comfortable but maybe a little too under furnished for the size of the space. When I got to the room I was impressed with the size of it. The furniture needs some TLC (stains on the couch, shades dirty and carpet wasn’t very clean). There were some obvious signs of leakage in the ceiling with brown spots and soft areas. The bathroom is out of date and really needs some help. The bed was comfortable and 2 TVs in the room along with a fridge and microwave were convenient. The air conditioning definitely works well! The breakfast was great with waffles, eggs, sausage and biscuits and gravy. I appreciated that it was all hot and that the older breakfast attendant was friendly and engaged with guests. Overall my stay was good for a 1 night stay. Price was reasonable but with updates to this property it could be fantastic."
