"The staff were very nice and always helpful. The only thing i did not like was that the toilet in the room was too close to the wall and my knees would hit the wall if i tried to sit straight on the toilet so I always had to be sideways. It was very awkward."

"We loved our stay at the Riverside. Although there is no restaurant for dinner on site, a complimentary shuttle to town was very handy. The only n downside was difficulty finding the hotel. But once we arrived, our room had a lovely view of the river and Salisbury Cathefral. (I'd recommend getting a Riverview room! And don't miss he giraffe!"

"Clean room, but wonder how warm it will be in Winter as only single glazing. Staff very good. Breakfast was good, but standard coffee served was only just passable. I think you could pay extra and get a ‘proper’ coffee though!"
The Moonraker Hotel

"Delicious evening meal, both the tomato soup and the lamb and belly pork in gravy, very nice polite waitress. Basic bar available. Clean bathroom, very nice gel soap for bath, lovely large bed and crisp bedding No real facilities other than restaurant and the bar closes at 10. Very few comfy seats in the restaurant to retire to after dinner and these were taken over by a large group, so we had to either continue to sit at our table or go back to our room. Outside town so not an easy walk to other restaurants or bars Overall however the price reflects this and the hotel was very good value."

"We had a great stay. Good sized twin bedded room with nice little outside sitting area overlooking the river. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast fresh and plentiful. Parking was £5 per night which was fine as the hotel is well located an easy 10 minute walk from the cathedral and town centre."

"Room was old. Bed okay but carpet was filthy and bathroom needed some repairs. Dining fantastic. Grounds were beautiful."
