"I do really like this property, especially its convenience as a 1/2 way point in a frequent to & from to visit family. It’s close to the freeway, rooms have alway been clean & the staff friendly & accommodating. I don’t normally eat their breakfast but I have scored a yogurt on occasion. I must admit I didn’t check during this stay but the two previous the ice machine has been out of order & after a very long drive I just want to settle in my room, not trek back to the lobby for ice. I brought ice with me from a fuel stop before I checked in. I understand people traveling with their pets but was not very happy at 9:30 pm having to listen to one yipping & then yipping again before 6 am. And so much door slamming this visit! Usually a very quiet place, just a one off I guess :)"

"Room was clean and cozy, fresh cookies were delightful and the scenery was gorgeous!! There was a “path” that went down to the river and we were swarmed by mosquitos. That’s on us for exploring a bit too much lol. Overall we had a lovely time and would definitely return :)"

"The property was stunning, it was so beautiful. The room was massive and I love that it had a little loft area for my child. Staff was so nice and so helpful. The windows were a bit dirty and had a lot of cobwebs and debris, but we are in the middle of the forest and the windows are super high and hard to get to so I don't hold it against them. Also, the doorknob to our room was broken but it was the weekend so the maintenance guy was off. They did what they could to fix it so I appreciate them. There was a river in the backyard of the property which was so beautiful. And the restaurant, OMG guys, that chef does magic! The food was to die for. 10/10 recommend, we loved this place!!!!"

"Beds were a little stiff. not enough space between desk and bed. dim light in bathroom. door opened under stairway. The outside was awesome, but that's not where I stayed. no instructions on TV use. chair at the desk had cushion that sank so my thighs were hanging over the frame. close to Grants Pass high school so we could walk to the graduation ceremony. fridge rocked back and forth."

"The location of this hotel and the amenities offered was spot on.... But the most important piece was they allow pets and our doggo felt welcome too. 😀"

The Vintage Cottage with riverfront access

2/10 Terrible

"Owner/VRBO host lives on the property with 2 dogs. We were awakened by a dog barking directly outside our bedroom. We had a very strange experience when the owner knocked on our door saying that the younger dog wanted to "meet us". The owner referred to the younger dog as a puppy. It was tall enough to sniff my crotch, which is not my idea of a puppy. The grounds are in need of attention. Also, there is a sign inside of the bathroom instructing guests to NOT flush toilet paper due to a "sensitive septic system". We left early and stayed at The Riverside Inn in Grants Pass. The hotel was reasonably priced and we had a lovely view of the river! The Riverside Inn is my recommendation if you are staying in Grants Pass."

"Hot Tub wasn't working. Wasn't told on check in. Would have been nice to know. Also lights in the pool room went out while was using the pool."
