"Not ideal for 5 single ladies. Better to have one room with two single beds. Sofa bed better in front room as back room very unsuitable. Garden not ideal if you had children could be a hazard. Alarm kept going off for no reason and non tolerant neighbours put note through door complaining about alarm and us playing scrabble. Parking would have been difficult if we had of taken car. Overall cottage very clean and comfortable.****"

"The home is beautiful and exactly as per the images. It's comfortable, the kitchen is fully functional with gas cooker and excellent cookware, the showers are hot and powerful, the bath relaxing, the garden and garden room lovely. There's loads of little additions like a record player that adds great atmosphere and the toys and games. The baby cot bed was comfortable and our daughter slept well. Overall very homely and we loved it, so recommend. "

"We had a lovely (2-night) stay at this house. It's beautifully presented, well-equipped, and the highlight is the kitchen-diner and huge dining table for us all to enjoy an evening of dinner, games and wine around. It's in a gorgeous little network of Victorian terraced houses in a great location for everything the town has to offer (restaurants, bars, shops, harbour, beach, you name it!). We were very grateful to be able to bring our dogs and the house worked really well for them. Lovely little back garden, although it was a bit cold for humans to use it! Appreciate the roadworks right outside the house (extremely loud, starting from 7.30am on the Saturday) were outside the owners' control, but a heads-up before arriving would have been good. Otherwise, this is a very quiet area so once the resurfacing works are done, you'll be able to sleep in as long as you like :) One ground floor bathroom (bath, no shower) plus one en-suite didn't quite feel enough for a 4-bedroom house, particularly those sleeping on the top floor, but we made it work for a short period of time. This might have put us off a longer stay. Overall, very happy to recommend this lovely house for a weekend in Whitstable!"

"A very lovely, well looked after home from home. The bathroom seemed to be recently refurbished, with a good shower. The kitchen is very well equipped, with everything one would need including, much to my delight, a caffitere. There is a nice outside space to eat outside if the weather is good, we had a leisurely breakfast in the garden. It is in easy reach of Whitstable Town and the beach. The only down side is that it is on very narrow road with cars parked on both sides making it difficult for other cars to drive down. My car was parked for three days, during that time, someone had hit my car scratching and denting the rear wing. A bad ending to an otherwise good experience. Consider taking the train or find somewhere else to park! "

"This was the second time we stayed in this lovely cottage. It is ideally located near the harbour, station, bus stop and shops. The owner is really nice and easy to contact. We would love to stay here again in the future!"
