"Terrific staff, very kind and friendly. Free breakfast was good, restaurant was great for dinner. Big room with big bathroom, nicely updated."

"This is a lovely place to stay with with bright clean and comfortable rooms at a reasonable price. The staff are welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was included and offered a good selection. There was waitress service and the dining lounge was pleasant. My only reservation is that there is no emergency phone number at night should guests need to contact staff but overall I would be happy to use this hotel again."

"very dated ,seen better days , carpets thread bare in places and were smelly, food was average, would not stay there again"

"Hotel from hell, all Night and all morning mysterious banging from all parts of hotel. Creaking banging all hours of the night. Couldn’t sleep"

"It was comfortable, quiet. The diner was reasonably priced and there was plenty of food. My only very slight grumble is that there was no decaf coffee in the room. It was good value for money. The staff were helpful. Thank you"

"Lovely staff who go out of their way to make your stay wonderful. Lovely location and very peaceful, food was very decent."

"The staff were great, there was room service which i was pretty happy about. I got pretty warm in the middle of the night though. The location was good, there are a few bakeries for breakfast."

"Expensive but it is Bath tbf. The modern block on the side of the original building is fine but bland. Could be any standard hotel room. Food also expensive but it’s a nice experience."

"The property was spotless, clean, the bed and open area spacious, but the bathroom, especially the bath area, was not big enough to move around. The room temperature was colder at night. Breakfast was good, with a variety of choices; the gym space is small and lacks enough equipment. Most importantly, it is a nice place to get a quiet, relaxing break, and I would recommend it to loved ones and friends for a good staycation. Also staff were friendly and consider coming back in future."

"Bed very uncomfortable and pillows."

"We had a great one night stay at Berwick Lodge on a a Monday to celebrate a birthday. The sun shone and the Housemartins flew happily around whilst we sat on the terrace having a cocktail. The à la carte menu was fantastic - well worth the cost and breakfast was very tasty. Will definitely stay again in one of the other fantastic looking rooms."

"Lovely hotel in a great location. In Bristol for an event and this place was perfect."

"The staff were extremely helpful on arrival and during our stay. The room was big , tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. All meals were well presented. We will definitely recommend to our friends and will return."

"Really nice property in quiet location. Food was great"

"Handy for train stations, 20 minute walk to shops and bars Staff friendly, room cleaned with fresh towel daily"

"The hotel looks spectacular when you arrive. On check-in the staff were polite, seemed a little fed up everyday thereafter. The restaurant is something that should be avoided at all costs unless you like eating uninspiring, bland overpriced food (£60 for 2 people and I would have expected something that looked and tasted like some heart had gone into it). Best option was the pub at the end of the drive or a takeaway!! Breakfast was free - that was nice because I would not have paid for it! We...
